Iranian forces destroy Israeli drone munitions in Ardabil province

Iranian police in Ardabil identified and destroyed Israeli drone munitions, amid reports that several UAVs vanished during Tel Aviv’s failed military campaign.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Security forces in Iran’s Ardabil province have located and safely destroyed munitions left behind by Israeli surveillance drones.

Brigadier General Javad Taghavi, commander of Ardabil’s law enforcement division, announced the development on Saturday.

He stated that specialized teams tasked with detection and disposal successfully identified and neutralized munitions linked to Zionist spy drones operating in the region.

His remarks follow a recent admission by an Israeli official that drones worth "hundreds of millions of dollars" were lost during Iran's defensive efforts against Israeli aggression.

Quoting the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, the official said these unmanned aircraft had “disappeared” within Iranian territory.

Taghavi went on to praise the provincial police for their performance during what he described as the war imposed on Iran by Israel from June 13 to 25.

He said those efforts included arresting agents working on behalf of Israel's espionage operations and averting potential security threats.

The commander emphasized that such missions demonstrate the sharp awareness and readiness of Iranian security agencies in addressing hostile operations.

Iran had responded to the aggression with swift defensive actions to intercept missiles and uncover espionage cells across the country.

Subsequently, Iran’s armed forces launched significant retaliatory strikes on Israel’s sensitive military, nuclear, and industrial infrastructure.
